Easter in Costa Rica - a very interesting celebration also for foreigners.
For the inhabitants of Costa Rica the days from thursday to sunday are used to relax and spend time with the whole family. Many people do camping on the beaches and spend several days there.
Thursday and Friday are holidays where no alcohol is sold and also public transportation is very limited.
Saturday evening the night-life is booming and at some places you may also find masses and processions.
For dinner the "Ticos" prepare fish. Of course also the "conejo de pascua" (easter bunny) is arriving for bringing gifts to the kids.
